Transforming Green Waste From Urban Forests Into Valuable Products And Commodities That Can Help Save Our Planet

Resource Management Technologies, LLC is dedicated to using technology and experience to aggregate wood waste from Urban Forests and transform it into soil nurturing compost and environmentally sustainable energy and commodities.

In the Southeastern U.S. the sun shines and the rain falls...and urban forests grow.  Urban centers are increasingly populated by trees and vegetation to improve quality of life and help combat emissions.  These Urban Forests inevitably generate maintenance waste that can be transformed into energy pellets, compost and other valuable commodities.

The Southeastern United States and Puerto Rico lead the country in the amount of urban wood waste generated.  They generate over 1000 lbs. of green waste per person annually.

Resource Biomass' vision is to vertically integrate aggregation and processing of urban wood and yard waste, using separated materials from feedstock processing to manufacture high quality compost that can be used to grow organic foods, reduce soil erosion, increase water retention, and reduce reliance on harmful chemical fertilizers, and manufacture high-quality, lower-cost energy pellet feedstock to support the huge global demand for sustainable, renewable biomass energy fuel.

Benefits of Compost

Operation

  • Resource Myakka has all the equipment needed to operate up to 500,000 tons of throughput pending installation of high-volume electric processing systems.

  • All biomass is received under a “ticket”that identifies its source and origin

  • Biomass is screened and separated•Yard Waste is conveyed to compost area and placed into windrows

  • Wood Waste is either sold for mulch or treated to change morphology for accelerated composting to ensure 100% utilization of resource (and prevent dangerous build-up of material)
